What are the signs and symptoms of the condition?

Following are some of the symptoms of presbyopia:

  • blurred vision, especially when viewing objects that are less than 20 inches from the eye
  • headaches when doing close work
  • inability to do tasks that need close-up focusing, such as threading a needle
  • a need for more light in order to read
  • tired eyes
