What are the signs and symptoms of the disease?
Symptoms include:
decreased sense of taste
difficulty chewing on the affected side
drooling
dropping of the mouth at one corner
excess or decreased tearing
fear that a stroke has occurred
hypersensitivity to sound in the affected ear
inability to blink or close the eye on the affected side
pain in the face or ear
twitching of muscles on the affected side
