Prevents and treats side effects caused by certain kinds of medicines such as methotrexate (an anti-cancer medicine) or pyrimethamine (used to treat infections).

You should not use this medicine if you have had an allergic reaction to leucovorin. How to Use This Medicine:

Your doctor will tell you how much medicine to take and how often. Make sure you understand your doctor's orders.

If you vomit right after you take this medicine, tell your doctor.
If a dose is missed:

This medicine needs to be given on a regular schedule. If you miss a dose, call your doctor for instructions.
How to Store and Dispose of This Medicine:

Store the tablets at room temperature, away from heat, moisture, and direct light.

Keep all medicine out of the reach of children.
Drugs and Foods to Avoid:
Ask your doctor or pharmacist before using any other medicine, including over-the-counter medicines, vitamins, and herbal products.

Make sure your doctor knows if you are also taking fluorouracil, phenobarbital, phenytoin (Dilantin®), or primidone (Mysoline®).
