What are the signs and symptoms of the disease?

The symptoms of measles include:

  • fever
  • fatigue
  • loss of appetite
  • sneezing and runny nose
  • hacking cough
  • red eyes and sensitivity to light
  • tiny white spots in the mouth and throat, called Koplik's spots
  • reddish rash on the forehead and ears that spreads to the body
