What are the signs and symptoms of the condition?

Symptoms of obstructive uropathy include:

  • flank pain
  • groin pain
  • blood in the urine
  • pain above the pubic bone
  • tenderness, feeling of fullness, or a mass in the lower abdomen
  • increased or decreased urination
  • difficulty urinating or inability to urinate
  • increased frequency and urgency of urination
  • recurrent urinary tract infections
  • inability to control the flow of urine
